Brand Narrations
Brand Story: The Reason People Repeat Your Name
Can everyone on your team explain why the business exists in roughly the same words? If not, your marketing is carrying a message nobody agrees on. We find your why and put it into language your team and your customers can both use.
What we write
Most companies have a story. Very few have a story that survives being retold. It gets written once, approved by committee, and then quietly abandoned because nobody can say it out loud without reading from a slide.
The test is not whether it sounds impressive. The test is whether your least senior employee can say it to a stranger.
Your position comes from what is already true about the business, not from something you would have to grow into. The output is short, specific, and written in the register your customers actually use.
Positioning statement
One sentence on who you are for and why you rather than the alternative. Internal, and the hardest thing on this list to get right.
Brand story
The longer form: where the business came from, what it is trying to change, and why anyone should care. Usable on an About page, in a pitch, or in a job ad.
Messaging framework
The three or four things you say repeatedly, with the proof points under each, so different people say the same thing in different rooms.
Tone of voice
How you sound, with real before-and-after examples, not adjectives. Adjectives never survive contact with a copywriter.
Boilerplate and bio
The short, medium and long descriptions you will be asked for by press, partners and directories.
